Our Local Lancaster Cupcake Ingredients
Mrs. Weaver's Pure Wildflower Honey
MIddletown, PA
"Packed on the farm by Weaver Family Farm, Middletown, PA"
Wilbur Chocolate Lititz, PA
"The story of Wilbur is, in many ways, the story of American
enterprise. Born at the height of the Industrial Revolution as a general
confectionery in 1865, Wilbur’s founders chose to narrow their focus in
1884, to specialize in the production – and perfection – of chocolate
alone. Although the Wilbur Bud maintains a passionate following through mail
order and direct sales in our company store, the singular focus of our
business is the delivery of superior ingredients to our customers in the
food industry.
Our Lititz facility currently produces over 240 million pounds of
chocolate and cocoa products, each one formulated and delivered to meet
the exact specifications of confectioners, dairies, and bakers across
North America."
Nature's Yoke
New Holland, PA
"Nature's Yoke is the trade name owned by Westfield Egg Farms, a small family-run operation in Lancaster County, PA. Here at "Natures Yoke" our goal is to bring to you our own local family farm raised quality products. Our eggs are
produced on small local farms in the heart of Lancaster County and
surrounding areas. These small scale farms have the ability to produce
quality specialty eggs by utilizing careful farm management and hen
care. We use no drugs or antibiotics to maintain hen health. Our
chickens are fed a vegetarian diet with no animal fats or animal
by-products in the feed and have the freedom to roam around and scratch
about at will."
Esbenshade Farms
Mount Joy, PA
Esbenshade Farms was started in 1963 on a farm just outside Manheim, PA
by H. Glenn Esbenshade and his wife Rachael. For the first 17 years the
eggs produced on the farm were sold to other processors. In 1980 the
company’s first grading machine was installed on a farm purchased by Mr.
Esbenshade near Mount Joy, PA. This made it possible to begin marketing
their eggs themselves. A feed mill was built in 1985 on the Mount Joy
site. Feed formulating and manufacturing for the farms’ birds allowed
for greater control over nutrition and costs. The company continued to
expand, and today includes three fully automated egg production and
grading facilities.

occupies a beautiful 120 year old red brick building chock-full of local
character. Regional food specialties include Pennsylvania Dutch
preserves, as well as a large variety of fresh dairy and local produce."
Meet Emily
Lancaster Cupcake was founded by Emily Barcklow Mitchell. Emily traded a career in nursing to pursue something a little sweeter, her passion for baking. As a lifelong baker, inspired by many chocolate-batter-covered spatulas in her mother's kitchen, Emily opened Lancaster Cupcake in August 2011 as PA’s
first and only subscription based cupcakery and Central PA's first Cupcake Truck!
